                                                             Great Egret Fishing

   The Young House Sparrow was from yesterday, with sweltering temperatures.  Today was only 88-89 degrees, so Great Egret allowed me an audience to capture him at what he does best.  This one is a male in breeding plumage, and a fine specimen, at that.  Happy hunting, Great Egret!

    Absolutely beautiful shots, Deb. I love these gorgeous Great Egrets. Sometimes we see them here in Texas, too. And the little sparrow is lovely as well.

    Thanks, Peg! The little House Finch wanted to be noticed, as he keep calling and calling. When they're young like that, they have no fear of us.
