It took three years, but this is the first time that I was able to get a shot of a jay at the lake. It is rare that they have been staying on the perimeter of the lake this year, but they've been around for a couple of weeks now, enjoying what life has to offer. The Scissor-tailed Flycatchers have also been visible for the past couple of weeks during the day, mostly the juveniles. They have been roosting on the west side of the lake at night.
