The influx of spring birds is underway, and the avian population at Boomer Lake is growing. Goose Island is readying for a new bumper crop of Canada Goslings. The martin houses have been up for at least a few days and are populated. Several pairs of Blue-winged Teals are in the area, and I am already looking forward to an exciting season.
