Mornings were quite chilly, especially with that biting wind this week. The birds say that it is spring,
but I have to disagree with them at the moment. Hopefully, they are holding off on laying those eggs,
as it is not time. Biological clocks will be off again this year, as the Arctic blast is still here. Just ask
the folks in the north...

25 mph wind gusts made it rather troublesome to hold camera steady for focus, as well as the chill.
However, as would be so, some interesting and rare shots were obtained, especially the male Red-winged Blackbird choosing a nest for his would-be mate. Isn't natural life impressive?

This was my first time in Dallas, just a small part of it spent at this wonderfully reading lake.
