Spring officially is here now, and trees are budding and flowering.  A few spring birds are making their appearance, as well.  While the Northeast is suffering with snowstorms and more below zero days than usual, our grass is actually beginning to get a little green.  It could be a while before it gets warmer, but it appears that we are finally on our way.  If you see a groundhog, though, give him a good spanking from me, even though I knew he was lying then.
