A great day at the lake, which is filled with birds.  Everywhere one looks, birds are eminent.  There s a definite need for rain, and unless it is received within the month, the water table is going to be compromised.  Keep your fingers crossed for precipitation, as it is a great necessity.  If Boomer Lake loses much more water, it will be critical.

  1. Deb, as usual, you've outdone yourself on these photos. That first one of the Crane is amazing. I love the mirror image. Lovely. We're suffering the consequences of drought here in TX too. Thankfully we had one good rain last week. Things are greening up.

  2. Thanks, Peg. Texas is in a worse state of affairs with lack of rain than here in OK. You've been suffering for years. Boomer Lake has been fortunate, though, but it will not last if we don't get some precipitation soon.
